The plot follows our protagonist, Touya Mochizuki, a fifteen years old boy who is accidentally killed by God with a stray bolt of lightning. As an apology, God offers him to live again, but since he cannot send him back to his old world, he instead resurrects him into a fantasy world along with any special wish or request.
Touya requested to bring his smartphone into the new world with him, which god accepted and modified it to work in the new fantasy world. God also greatly improves Touya’s physical, magical, and cognitive abilities to a certain degree as further apology for the inconvenience of killing him.
Starting over in this new world, Touya befriends many new people, mainly women and high ranking people in the new world. He begins to travel from country to country, solving political disputes, minor quests, as well as enjoying himself with his newfound allies.
Release Date and other Information Regarding Season 2 of In Another World With My Smartphone
The second season info along with a teaser of In another world with my smartphone or Isesuma, was shared on the official website on July 22, 2022.
The second season is having a new staff and a different production studio who is going to cast it. Meanwhile, the April 2023 premiere was unveiled last November 25, 2022, along with a new visual and the season’s second PV.
The popular anime studio J.C. Staff is expected to provide a boost to the anime, which is popular for the production of isekai anime.
Right now, the broadcast details are yet to announce, both the Isesuma’s official website and the J.C. Staff are yet to announce, apart from aiming for an April 2023 release window.
Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the anime as five years is already long enough to wait, just like season 1, it is estimated to be releasing by April 11, 2023.
