Masamune Kun’s Revenge Season 2 has been officially confirmed! It is set to premiere on April 4, 2023. The information about the second season was announced on the official website on November 25, 2022.
The Trailer for the second season was launched on the same day it was announced. Masamune Makabe and Aki Adagaki, the protagonists are first seen in the trailer and receive the majority of screen time.
It was officially announced earlier but had yet to reveal any details about the production of the new season. The first season concluded before such a feat could be accomplised. In 2017, the season 1 of the anime wrapped up with a cliffhanger, leaving Masamune Kun’s final decision unresolved.
Even after several years, Fans are eagerly wondering what could possibly become of the love/hate relationship of Masamune with Aki.

Masamune-Kun’s Revenge: What we know so far
“Masamune-kun’s Revenge” is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hazuki Takeoka and Tiv. It was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine from April 2012 to February 2017, with the individual chapters collected and published in 25 tankōbon volumes. The series follows the story of a high school student named Masamune Makabe who seeks revenge on a girl named Aki Adagaki, who had humiliated and rejected him when they were children.
Masamune was once a chubby and unpopular child, but he has transformed himself into a handsome and fit young man. He enrolls in the same high school as Aki and sets out to make her fall in love with him, all while hiding his true identity and intentions. Along the way, Masamune faces various challenges and meets a number of eccentric characters, including a childhood friend named Neko Fujinomiya, who has a crush on him, and a rival named Kojuurou Shuri, who also has feelings for Aki.
As Masamune’s revenge plot progresses, he begins to question his own motivations and feelings, and ultimately has to choose between his desire for revenge and his growing feelings for Aki. The series explores themes of love, friendship, and redemption as it follows his journey towards self-discovery and redemption.

Masamune Kun’s Revenge Season 2 Release Date
After almost 5 years, the directors finally made the decision for the second season produuction. The first season was aired in January 2017. Later in April 2022, the seond season of Masamune Kun’s revenge was announced. The second season of the anime is titled “Masamune Kun’s Revenge R“.
Recently in November 25, 2022, a new PV trailer was launched along with the premiere time frame.
The number of episodes hasn’t been announced yet however, it’s possible that the first season will adapt all the way to the end of the Manga ending and may adapt the after school ending arc.

Masamune Kun’s Revenge is a popular manga directed by Hazaki Takeoka and Tiv. It was first serilaized from October 12 to June 2018, by Ichijinsha in Monthly Comic Rex Magazine. The Anime has 12 episodes in it.
The Anime series revolves around Masamune, the main protagonist who used to be chubby in childhood but later decides to transform himself after getting bullied by Aki Adagaki.
After several years, Masamune returns to the town after becoming slim, studious and athletic. So Aki can’t recognize him. His only motive is to make Aki fall in love with him so he can reject her to take his revenge.
