Mushoku Tensei is a fantasy anime series based on a light novel of the same name. The plot follows a 34-year-old NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) who is transported to a fantasy world. In this new world, he is given a second chance at life and is reborn as a child with powerful magical abilities. The series follows his journey as he grows up, trains in magic, and becomes a powerful mage. Along the way, he meets a cast of interesting characters and gets involved in a series of adventures and conflicts.
The Light Novel series is written by Rifujin no Mogonote and illustrated by Shirotoka. As of March 2022, 25 Volumes of Mushoku Tensei light novel series has been published in Japan.
The Manga based on the light novel currently has 16 volumes released, and it is not simply a replica of the anime in Manga format, as in most cases.

Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Release Date
The second season of the popular isekai anime “Mushoku Tensei” is officially confirmed however, there is not much information about its release date yet.
Although, there are high chances of the season 2 to release in early 2023 if there’s one cours or in mid to late 2023 if there’re two cours.
On average, after a season is officially confirmed, it took around 12-18 months to be released on air.
The two cours of season 1 of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation adapted volumes one to six from the light novel series. So season 2 will adapt from volume seven, where Rudeus will embark on a journey to Rosenburg to search for his mother, who is currently staying in Labyrinth city of Rapan on the Begaritt Continent.

As the first and second cours of Season 1 was aired on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, BS11, and SUN TV so Mushoku Tensei Season 2 will be broadcasted on the same channels in Japan.
The Series will also be available on Crunchyroll to watch since after the merge of Funimation and Crunchyroll, the series was moved to the massive catelog of the latter.
